Toasted Goat Cheese and Fig Jam Crostini

| 1 jar Fig Jam | ||||
| handful Crumbled Walnuts | ||||
| Hot Honey for Drizzling | ||||
| Red Pepper Flakes for Sprinkling | ||||
| Sprigs of Fresh Thyme | ||||
| 1 Goat Cheese log (6oz) | ||||
Steps in full
- Pre heat oven to 375.
- Cut the Baguette into 1/2 " slices and place them on a cookie sheet.
- Take a butter knife and scoop and spread a heaping of goat cheese onto the baguette slice.
- Then take some fig jam and place on top of the goat cheese area. It will help if you create a dent in the goat cheese to hold the fig jam so it does not run off the sides.
- Sprinkle with walnuts. Crumble between fingers. (They do not need to be crushed or uniform).
- Place in oven for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle the hot honey and garnish with thyme and red pepper flakes with desired amount.
