By creating an account or using Platefolio, you agree to these terms. They cover what the service is, what we're responsible for, and what we're not.
Platefolio is a recipe management app. You can store, organize, and import recipes. Some features may be limited to paid plans, which are not yet available. See the roadmap for upcoming features and plans.
The service is currently in early access. Features may change, and availability is not guaranteed. We will do our best to give advance notice of any significant change or discontinuation.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Sign-in uses emailed links or Google, so there is no password to protect, but you should only sign in on devices you trust.
One account per person. You may not share your account or use it on someone else's behalf unless they are part of your household within the app.
What you put into Platefolio, including recipes, photos, and cookbooks, stays yours. You grant us a limited license to store and serve it back to you, and to the people you share it with. We do not claim ownership and we do not use your content to train machine learning models.
You are responsible for the content you upload. Content must comply with our acceptable use policy.
The free plan includes a fixed number of recipe imports (paste, URL, and photo combined) and a limit on recipe photos and cookbooks. These limits exist to keep the service sustainable. You can add recipes manually without limit, regardless of plan.
During early access, import limits may be adjusted on request. Use the in-app feedback button to ask.
Paid plans are not yet available. When they are, pricing, billing terms, and refund policy will be described at the point of purchase and incorporated here.
We aim to keep Platefolio running, but we do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access. The service may be offline for maintenance, affected by third-party infrastructure, or changed without notice. It is provided as-is.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Platefolio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that data will never be lost, or that any particular feature will remain available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of your use of Platefolio is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. If you have not paid us anything, our liability is zero. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate the acceptable use policy or these terms. We may also discontinue the service entirely, in which case we will give reasonable advance notice.
You can delete your account at any time by emailing contact@platefolio.app from the address you signed up with. See the privacy policy for what happens to your data.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected here. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
